The Mr. Consistent and Dan’s Daily teams have come together to collaborate on a project to create the perfect cocktail for the Australian Summer.
With a cultural melting pot as diverse as our climate - from the tropical north to the temperate south - creating one cocktail to represent everybody’s Summer was an exciting challenge. We wanted something as customer-centric as possible so we took to the Dan’s Daily followers for inspiration. The feedback generated spanned from the fruits and flavours synonymous with the season to the spirits they wanted as a base and the foods and drinking styles they wanted the cocktail to pair with.
Our teams met in our Gold Coast production facility and, armed with an array of fresh juices and house-made syrups, we got creating. The day yielded three very different but equally fitting drinks, which we sent to the Dan’s team in Melbourne to ascertain which paired best with the season. The outcome: our Yuzu and Blood Orange Sour.
Originally intended to go with Tequila or Gin, this mixer is our most versatile to date and the first that, from its inception, has been designed to be used not only to create an amazing stand-alone cocktail or mocktail, but also a share punch, to add life to a classic Gin and Tonic
